Fall Ball

 Fall Ball

East Chatham Little League (ECLL) is excited to offer a Fall Baseball season. This is predominantly a learning league so that kids can continue to have fun, improve their skills, and get ready for their next age level of baseball. Don't miss out on your chance to register and participate in ECLL Fall Ball!  See below for more information.

What is Fall Ball?
Fall ball is generally seen as a developmental league for young players to improve their skills and get ready for the next level of baseball. Fall ball is also a little more relaxed and less competitive than the regular Spring season. The focus is to prepare for the next level of baseball: learning the new rules, getting acclimated to new positions and bigger players in the next age bracket, and developing the skills necessary to play at a competent level with their peers. As there are other sports programs in the Fall, competition for participation is always a challenge. We are looking to schedule 1 practice during the week and games on Sunday afternoons/evenings.

What ages can play Fall Ball?

For the 2022 Fall Ball season, we will have the following age divisions: 6U (T-ball), 8U (machine pitch), 10U (player pitch), 12U, and 14U* (assuming enough players). The registration for age groups will automatically be determined by birth date for the NEXT spring season in 2023 (Little League age determination date is Aug. 31).  This is due to the fall season being designed to help players get used to moving up a level where applicable.  All players are required to play in their age appropriate division or an older division.

What is the registration fee?  Where do I register?
The registration cost is $75 per player in 6U + 8U and $85 for 10U, 12U and 14U (plus processing fees).  Registration for 2022 Fall Ball is open July 18 through August 26. Sign up through the link on our website homepage.
