Game Schedule; Sponsors Needed!

We hope your players’ ECB Spring baseball practice seasons are in full swing. There are many important pieces that go into a successful baseball season, and one of these is sponsorships. ECB is dependent upon the generosity of our sponsors to help offset the costs of running the league. Without their generous donations and sponsorships, ECB would not be able to provide affordable baseball to our community. We are currently in serious need of team sponsors, which get a business’s name printed on team uniforms for $475 per team. If you or someone you know is interested in sponsoring a team, please either contact your player’s coach or email [email protected].

More info on team sponsorship or our sign sponsorship program can be found here.

Additionally, the ECB Board is working hard this week to finalize game schedules. We know families are anxiously awaiting this information, but please understand that with only two fields for game use and 22 teams ranging in age from 6U-13U, working out the schedule takes some time. What we can tell you is that games are being scheduled to begin the week of April 9, with Saturday, April 14 set for Opening Day. **GAMES WILL BE HELD AS PART OF THE OPENING DAY CEREMONIES.**  Individual and team pictures will also be taken. We hope all ECB families can join us for this exciting event.

**For those new to ECB, game schedules loosely adhere to the following:

  1. 8U, 10U and 13U teams usually play Mon, Tue, Thu or Fri evenings in two 90 minute timeslots of 6pm and 7:30pm.
  2. 6U teams usually play Saturday morning, with an occasional early 6pm weeknight game.
  3. Wednesdays are usually reserved for either rainout makeup games or 6U games if needed.
  4. 8U teams usually play in the early timeslot (6pm) with 10U and 13U usually assigned to the later timeslot (7:30pm).
  5. All games are played at EC or PIT Fields (by PES)

**Due to the many logistical issues associated with game scheduling, there may be scheduled and/or makeup games that do not follow these loose guidelines.
