ALL-STAR + STATE TOURNAMENT Update

Congratulations to all the ECLL All-Star teams on their impressive performances in the District 2 tournaments last week!

The 10u team won their opener before losing game 2.  Facing elimination in game 3 did not phase them as they produced an epic comeback victory.  Down 6-2 in the 6th inning, they scored 4 to tie only to go down again 10-6 in the 7th.  A triple with the bases loaded finished off an amazing 11-10 win. They finished in 4th place with a 2-2 record.

The 12u team lost their opener and then proceeded to win their next 3 games, all by shutout. In game 5, they rallied from 6 down in the 6th inning (including a grand slam) to tie the game, but unfortunately lost in the bottom of the 6th.  They finished in 3rd place with a 3-2 record.

The 14u team won their opener before losing game 2.  They went on to win their next 3 games to bring home the championship!  The pitching excelled, only giving up more than 3 runs in 1 game.  They also had countless hitting and fielding contributions in key spots every single game.  They will be joining the 8u All-Stars in the State tournament this weekend.

8u: Friday 7/9 @ 6pm, Saturday 7/10 @ 9am AND 1pm
